Pangkor Island Beach Resort Location

Pangkor Island Beach Resort is located off the coast of Lumut in the estate of Perak. Lumut is a quiet little fishing village, renown for its beautiful shell and coral craft, and is to be found 84 km south of Perak's capital city, Ipoh. Each year the Sea Festival is held, displaying water sports competitions, cultural shows, food and fun fair.

With its age old virgin forest, exotic marine and land animals, and an excellent annual climate, The Pan Pacific Resort Pangkor Island is one of the most desirable destinations in Malaysia.

Getting There
Pangkor Island Beach Resort, located off the coast of Lumut in the state of Perak, is among the more popular beach resorts in the country. The journey to Lumut from Kuala Lumpur takes approximately 3 hours via the coastal road or the North-south Expressway.

From the North-south Expressway, exit at Bidor junction and drive towards Teluk Intan. On leaving Teluk Intan, head towards Sitiawan and then onwards to Lumut. From Lumut it is a short 30 minutes ferry to the resort.

Alternatively, one can take a 45 minutes flight from Subang Airport via Berjaya Air. Flights are daily except Tuesdays and Thursdays (one flight per day). Ferry Schedule at Lumut Jetty - 7 daily trips (time subject to change without prior notice) :

Lumut-Resort - 07:15, 08:45, 11:00, 13:45, 15:45, 17:45, 19:00
Resort-Lumut - 08:00, 09:30, 12:15, 14,30, 16:30, 18:00, 19:30

DETAILED ROAD DIRECTION FROM KL TO LUMUT JETTY/PANGKOR
KL / PLUS highway Drive North towards IPOH

Turn into Bidor Interchange

You will reach the Toll Plaza

TOLL PLAZA/ TO TELUK INTAN
After paying your toll , turn right after traffic light

Signboard shows < BIDOR , TELUK INTAN >

After a short drive , you will come to a traffic light

Turn right where you will pass the small old BIDOR Town.

Follow the road until you see a signage of <Damai Laut>

Turn left , follow the road , palm estates along the way

You will pass by < KAMPUNG BARU BIDOR STESYEN>

And <FRIM Sub-Station Bidor>

Soon you will come across a township <KAMPUNG BARU COLDSTREAM>

Shortly you will reach a signboard to < TELUK INTAN >

Turn Right and proceed with your journey

Again palm estates along the way

You will the come across < SEKOLAH MEN ABDUL RAHMAN TALIB>

Not too long after the school you will see a sign < Damai Laut >

Turn Left at the traffic light

You will see fruit stalls along the road

Go straight  and you will reach a traffic light , proceed

Upon reaching the next traffic light

Turn Left  signboard showing < PULAU PANGKOR>

You will see a Shell Petrol Station on your right.

Continue after the traffic light 

You will pass by a pink building <WISMA CAELYGIRL>

Continue your journey until you see a sign < SIMPANG TO SITIAWAN>

Traffic Light , Turn Right and you are on your way to Setiawan

TELUK INTAN TO SETIAWAN 

You will see that Setiawan is 49 km away

Palm estates along the journey

This road will take you all the way to Setiawan

You will then reached  a traffic light , go straight

SETIAWAN TO LUMUT
And when you reached the next traffic light , turn right

And you have arrived Manjung ,the town before LUMUT

You will noticed <EON CAR DEALER and PETRONAS>

Traffic light , Turn Left and go straight all the way

You will pass by 2 more traffic lights /  Follow  < LUMUT > signboard all the way

LUMUT
When you reached LUMUT you will see Welcome to LUMUT and Pangkor on the Hillslope.

Just a few minutes , watch out for a Mosque on your left , ( Opposite the Mosque  is Pangkor Island Beach Resort Lumut Office ) turn left  immediately

Shortly  you will pass by an intersection , go straight and then turn right , drive slowly and you will reached another intersection ( be careful no traffic light ) where you will see KFC on your left. If you want to park your car , there is an open air Car Park just in front of KFC.

It cost RM10.00 per day on weekdays but you will need to walk to the Jetty which is about 5 minutes away. Otherwise you can look for other Car Park nearby the Jetty area. There are a number of car parking areas in the vicinity.

LUMUT JETTY / PANGKOR ISLAND BEACH RESORT
At the Jetty , we have a desk to facilitate our guests. Please purchase your  tickets inside the Jetty  terminal where our Resort Desk are located. Don’t purchase ticket at the Main ticket counter. Please approach them and identify yourself.
