Built 20 feet off the ground, the tree houses take their inspiration from the homes of Iban, one of the major native races of Sarawak. Traditionally, the Iban build their houses on tall wooden stilts for protection against floods, marauding tribes, pirates and wild animals. Rustic and cosy , the treehouses are air-conditioned, have ceiling fans, hot showers, a fridge and a verandah facing the sea. The treehouses sleep 2 persons. The tree houses provide a wonderful opportunity to experience the rainforest and offer great views of the Damai seaside. Go to sleep at night to the sound of the waves lapping on the shore. Wake up in the morning and embrace nature’s cool, quiet stillness. Lose yourself in the peace and tranquillity.

SINGLE STOREY CABINS These cabins accommodate 6 people and have 2 bedrooms, attached bathrooms, a living room and a veranda. The cabins are modestly furnished and are great for families or small groups. Some of these cabins have BBQ pits and a large veranda space for cooking. If you wish to have a BBQ please request such cabins when making your reservations. DOUBLE STOREY CABINS Spacious and private, the double storey cabin are a great place to relax and spend quality time with family and friends. Being located some distance from most of the other cabins, they are perfect for those seeking a quiet retreat. The double storey cabins comfortably accommodate 10 people. They are equipped with fridges, air-conditioning, hot showers, ceiling fans and electric kettles.
CAMPING SITE or those seeking even more intimate contact with nature in the rainforest nothing surpasses camping. Permai Rainforest Resort campsite is located towards the end of the resort, where campers can enjoy quiet, privacy and a sense of being immersed in wilderness. The campsite is well supported with toilets and showers, and lighting. It can accommodate up to 80 people. Bring your own tent or sleeping bag as these facilities are not provided.
