Perhentian Island is located 21KM off the Terengganu shore and is accessible via Kuala Besut jetty.

It takes only 30 minutes by boat to reach the island and with 10 minutes to reach Bubu Long Beach Resort. The jetty is 40 minutes drive from Kota Bharu and 1 hour 15 minutes from Kuala Terengganu and is easily accessible by road and air.

There are bus services to Besut from almost all major points in the Peninsula.
