Day 1: Sandakan / Selingan Turtle Island
At 0830 hrs, transfer from your hotel in Sandakan to the jetty to board boat for 1 hr 15 minutes to Selingan Turtle Island. Check in chalet. Lunch.
Afternoon, free at leisure, ideal for snorkelling and swimming. After dinner, watch turtle laying eggs on the beach, transfer of the eggs to the hatchery and release of hatchlings to the sea. Overnight at chalet. (lunch/Dinner included).
(If you are joining this tour from Kota Kinabalu by the first flight, we will pick you up at Sandakan airport to join this tour).
Day 2: Selingan Turtle Island / Sandakan
At 0700 hrs, transfer to your Sandakan Hotel by 0830 hrs or join excursions to Kinabatangan River or Sepilok Orang Utan Centre. (Breakfast included) |
